Everybody knows I love to ski and snowboard. My home mountain is Waterville Valley in New Hampshire. I’ve been shredding the gnar at Waterville since I was a kid and I learned how to ski there! I’m proud to say I’m a passholder at Waterville now.
Mother nature hasn’t been too kind to us New England ski bums the last few seasons. Skiing man made snow until what feels like mid January… and that also comes with delays. This year the start date of my 2022-23 ski season has been delayed by weather and while I could have gone somewhere else, I have to work during the week (queue the tiny violin).
Here’s my point. Don’t let the weather or the delays drag you down. Make the most out of your ski days no matter how many or how little you get. Because any day spent on the hill is better than a day at home or work right? Plus, to me, the most important part of skiing is getting out there with friends and family and HAVING FUN!
I personally can’t wait to get out there with family and friends that I’ve made both working in the ski industry and those who I have met over the many vacations spent at our family condo.
So, with that said… THINK SNOW!!!!
